"Great holiday in a fabulous location"
Mike, Seaflowers full-house, July 2025
“Well, where to start............ Sometimes in life you're lucky enough find a beautiful location or a superb place to stay. Seaflowers combines both of these attributes in bucket loads!
We took our family (11 of us) away for a family fun holiday and to make memories, our time at Seaflowers enabled us to do this. So the plus points; Beautiful house that met (exceeded our needs) Lovely well appointed bedrooms. Fabulous garden, which became our cricket pitch with stunning outlook Very friendly village pub (just across the road) which served excellent food. Close to some fabulous coastal towns & beaches Last but certainly not least is Suxy, who ensures you have a wonderful time...............Thank you Suzy.
The negatives HAVING TO LEAVE!”

“What a house. What a view. What a place.
We went away with friends for a surprise 40th birthday for my wife and we weren’t disappointed.

Suzy was so helpful and couldn’t have helped any more.”

"Suzy couldn’t have done more to make our stay absolutely perfect!”
Susan, Seaflowers full-house, July 2025
“Stylish luxury accommodation on the tidal reaches of Frogmore Creek.
From the moment you walk through the door, Seaflowers presents space filled with light. The space is beautifully styled to offer minimalist style with beautiful art work. The bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, each provide supreme comfort and style with deep fluffy pillows and soft deep pile cotton towels. An exceptionally well stocked kitchen provides space for cooking and chat. We loved the terraced area for evening drinks before plunging into the immaculately clean outdoor jacuzzi. All this whilst overlooking the tidal movements of Frogmore Creek. The owner couldn’t have done more to make our stay absolutely perfect!”

"Beautifully relaxing stay with exquisite decor in all rooms"
Phil, The Seal, July 2025
“Seaflowers was a wonderfully relaxing venue for a few days away. The rooms were elegant in their simplicity providing a calm and comfortable stay. There were nice touches; tea, coffee with milk in the fridge. The paddleboards allowed easy access to the estuary with a warm shower by the slipway to wash off afterwards, and a hot tub to use under the stars. The kitchen was extensive and very well equipped. It was nice to meet and chat with the other guests. All highly recommended. Thank you Suzy.”

Cheryl, Seaflowers full-house, June 2025
“Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location enabled a relaxed & chilled long weekend.
Seaflowers is amazing, well appointed with everything you need for a self catering stay in Devon. The kitchen is well equipped with large pans & dishes, large fridge and wine cooler. Inside and outside eating and seating areas allows for large groups. The hot tub was wonderful. "Peace and quiet, luxury, space and amazing views"
Suzy, Seaflowers full-house, June 2025
“We had the most amazing weekend at Seaflowers. We were a group of friends and it provided all that we needed and more. Peace and quiet, luxury, space and amazing views. The bird life on the estuary was quite a topic of conversation for a lot of the weekend. We chose Seaflowers for its quiet location and relaxing ambience. We ventured into Salcombe and had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Salcombe Gin Distillery. We were spoiled with the variety of Farm-shops in the locality. The weather wasn’t on our side but it did not stop us from enjoying ourselves. We had a delicious Sunday Lunch at the Globe Inn across the road from the accommodation.
If you are looking for a family retreat or a break with friends, Seaflowers is the place to go. Suzy, our host, was so amenable and easy to liaise with. Cannot speak highly enough of how relaxed and comfortable we all felt.”

I would love to stay here again.
Highly recommended.”

"The perfect place to relax, swim, work or explore"
Deema, The Puffin, June 2025
“My stay at Seaflowers was nothing short of magical, offering the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and breathtaking natural beauty. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. My room was wonderfully spacious, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed and a pristine en-suite bathroom with all the necessary amenities. The decor was lovely, with its thoughtful use of sand and sea tones that beautifully echoed the surrounding landscape. Seaflowers is a short drive from Kingsbridge, a lovely town by the water, full of charming independent shops as well as well known highstreet brands. I also loved the easy access to a stunning pebble beach with crystal-clear water – a truly beautiful spot. What truly set Seaflowers apart, however, was its unique position overlooking the creek. Waking up to the tide dramatically rushing in early in the morning, and again in the afternoon, was an absolutely thrilling and unforgettable sight. The views from the guesthouse are incredibly serene, framed by a lush, vibrant garden overflowing with lavender, fragrant flowers, and a variety of trees and plants. It was a true oasis of calm. Seaflowers offers a truly comfortable, private, and utterly charming experience. I can't recommend it highly enough and are already dreaming of when I can book my next visit.”

"The whole experience was faultless!"
Beth, Seaflowers full-house, May 2025
“Our trip to Seaflowers was perfect. From start to finish Suzy was brilliant, very communicative and accommodating. The house itself was breathtaking, the views, the aesthetic, every little trinket and touch point was beautifully themed. The rooms were comfy, calm and all spotlessly clean. We made great use of the outside table, hot tub and garden. The whole experience was faultless and it was one of the happiest weekends we’ve had. A big shout out to the wonderful pub opposite who were just amazing and we’d HIGHLY recommend booking Jo the private chef to come in to cook a 3 course meal. This was a truly special touch, the food was outstanding and we fell in love with her!”

Rachael, Seaflowers full-house, May 2025
“Fantastic four day stay for 15, across four generations!
We had an amazing Easter at Seaflowers with family ranging from 9 months to 98 years old! We made the most of the gorgeous terrace, paddle boards, hot tub and comfy living space. Great location for Dartmouth, Salcombe, and Blackpool Sands, plus a brilliant pub over the road. The house is stylish, fully equipped, and super comfy, with fun touches in the elegant themed rooms. The kids loved the chickens and space to run around. We’ve already rebooked — Seaflowers is a total gem!”

"Beautiful and exactly what we were after."
Jane, The Heron, April 2025
“Firstly, the scenery from the living room / kitchen / outside is beautiful and exactly what we were after. I looked forward to my peaceful morning coffee looking out over the creek - even on a rainy morning it was still lovely. Great attention to detail in the rooms - from iron, to hairdryer, coffee and even mugs with room-specific designs. Despite “sharing” the house with other people who were strangers, it was big enough in the communal areas to feel totally at ease / natural.”
-
"Seeing the chickens every morning was a highlight!"

Pat, Seaflowers full-house, January 2025
“A long weekend away for a relaxing crafting experience with a group of lovely ladies. Immaculate. Perfect for a getaway break. Attention to detail and all mod cons. Exceptional in every way. Plenty of parking and a very welcoming pub opposite offering breakfast and evening meals. Public transport on the doorstep if required, accessing, Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge and further afield if required. A little bit of everything, for everybody.”

"A wonderful stay for our group, with everything we needed"
Rebecca, Seaflowers full-house, January 2025
“A wonderful stay for our group, Seaflowers had everything we needed
Our stay at Seaflowers was so special. There was plenty of space for our group to socialise together as well as spaces to go and relax alone. We had such a great time using the hot tub, exploring gardens and local surroundings.
Suzy has everything you could possibly need at the house, the comfy beds and power showers were especially good!
We had a really good dinner at the pub over the road who easily catered for our party of 12.”
-
"A wonderful Christmas experience!"
Helen, Seaflowers full-house, December 2024
“This well situated property is comprehensively furnished. Notable is a local artist’s marine theme design in the bedroom furnishings and mugs. Brilliant for a large family to spend Christmas together (14 of us). Loads of space and also loads of storage in the well equipped kitchen with a magnificent view of the ebb and flow of Frogmore estuary. The two ovens were certainly a big advantage with the Christmas cooking. We intended to use the Stand Up Paddleboard in the boathouse but with the nice weather, instead we visited the nearby beaches and explore the local area. We also collected the chicken eggs for breakfast one morning, a bonus!”
-
"A family experience we will cherish forever."
Emma, The Shrimp, November 2024
“From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a sense of serenity and were met with a warm welcome from the wonderful and inspiring host, Suzy. Throughout our stay, she went over and above to ensure that our trip was perfect. Any queries we had were answered promptly, and she provided us with invaluable tips and advice about the local area, which made our experience all the more enjoyable. We stayed in the Shrimp room, complete with its very own nursery (cot room) thoughtfully prepared with toys for our little one, and an adjoining twin room. We honestly cannot recommend this spot highly enough, and if you have the pleasure of booking - you are in for a wonderful treat. We seriously would give it 10 stars if we could and very much hope to visit again soon!”
-

“The house is absolutely perfect for a gathering of friends or family."
Ayshea, Seaflowers full-house, October 2024
“The house is absolutely perfect for a gathering of friends or family. When booking I was looking for a place where all the bedrooms were ensuite and most importantly that there was plenty of comfy seating so that we could all sit together. Seaflowers has everything, 7 bedrooms with comfy beds, a fantastic seating area to relax and plenty of space to sit around a table together and the view is fantastic. Suzy the host is very helpful and can give lots of recommendations. Would book again.”

"We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our getaway!"
Tom, The Puffin, October 2024
“We had the most wonderful long weekend at Seaflowers with some friends. It’s the perfect location; from the beautiful rooms to the amazing kitchen and huge living / dining room. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our getaway! We were in The Puffin. It was a gorgeous room (really love the @bertandbuoy artwork) and was so beautiful being able to open the curtains onto the amazing garden and view of the creek in the morning. The main kitchen, living and dining area was great. It’s huge and was perfect for our big Saturday night in… cooking up a feast that we shared around the massive dining table. Was only topped by the fact we could go for a dip in the hot tub outside afterwards. Seaflowers is in such a beautiful part of the world as well. It’s an idyllic spot and is only a short journey to Salcombe (amazing ice cream to be found here!). It really was the best weekend away. Go there…now. You can thank me later.”
-

"A relaxing retreat from the city in an enviable position."
Megan, The Puffin, September 2024
“We had an awesome stay at Seaflowers. We were hoping for a relaxing retreat from the city and that’s exactly what we got! The room was bright, clean and characterful. Suzy’s place had an enviable position on the banks of the estuary and it was an absolute joy to wake up to the beautiful view of the creek in the morning. After a weekend of exploring the Devon coast, delicious local food and activities, including taking our kayak out from the guesthouse’s very own slipway, I was very sad to leave. Thank you Suzy for a wonderful stay.“
-
“Simply beautiful - can’t wait to go back."
Katie, The Shrimp, September 2024
“Seaflowers is amazing. We drove from Suffolk - which is a looooong way - but it was 100% worth the journey. As soon as we arrived I felt the weight of the world lift from my shoulders. The stunning view of Frogmore Creek, together with the beautiful Seaflowers put me in relaxed holiday mode straight away. We ate fresh lobsters and beef from the local fields, visited the local beaches and even got to experience the sauna on the beach at Blackpool Sands. We also celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday - the big table is perfect for celebrating! It was simply amazing. The view of the creek, the aesthetic of the house, proximity to the coast. All brilliant and made for a wonderful stay, where I felt like I’d found a little piece of paradise in Devon. Oh, and the host is pretty awesome too :). Can’t wait to go back - just wish we lived a bit closer.“
-
"The house is immaculate and done to a very high standard."
Andy, The Shrimp, October 2024
“Seaflowers is a very special place indeed. The setting is so peaceful with amazing views over Frogmore Creek. The house is immaculate and done to a very high standard - we loved the Bert & Buoy artwork throughout which is a really nice touch. Every detail has been thought about, from the hot tub and towels, to the toys in the family room, the SUPs to hire, and the meal services offered. The communal spaces inside and out and are huge and have everything you need for a relaxing stay as a group, which is quite hard to find. There is a great pub across the road and various farms shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches all within a short drive. The location is perfect to explore the local area. Would highly recommend Seaflowers - we hope to stay there again!”

"The sense of space in the house is wonderful, with dreamy views."
Jessica, Seaflowers full-house, August 2024
“I enjoyed a wonderful week at Seaflowers. The pictures online really stood out from the rest of the options we were considering when choosing our holiday and when we arrived we were not disappointed - it’s even better. The sense of space in the house is wonderful, with dreamy views over the river. I really didn’t want to leave! The interiors are absolutely beautiful with a luxe feel and the house has everything you should need both in the bedroom and a well equipped kitchen. "A great holiday venue for family members from teens to 80’s."
Michael & Jane, Seaflowers full-house, August 2024
“Happy memories of a great holiday venue for family members from teens to 80’s. We loved the space for 12 of us, especially the long dining table and large settees, and the well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was very popular and the lawn was great for games, including volleyball. Paddleboarders made use of the slipway. The location was great for exploring local beaches and towns and the ever changing creek, including its wildlife, fascinated us. Luxury touches and Suzy’s friendly, helpful attitude enhanced our Seaflowers experience.” -
